In the short term, we need to educate people that available systems can work for them today. It is a concern that people should gain a reasonable buy back period and then enjoy long lasting solutions while helping the environment. The core strength of our business: To deliver an existing technology that works; to deliver a product at a cost the consumer can afford; to focus on the conservation of limited resources and promote solar energy use for the long term. Energy Systems Consulting, LLC provides complete system design, engineering design, equipment procurement and installation support and maintenance for a broad spectrum of renewable energy systems. These systems include solar photo voltaic (PV), wind electricity generation, radiant heating and hot water. Our previous experience as the Solar Store has provided both on grid and off grid systems for residential and commercial customers also provides consulting services for a variety of renewable energy projects including water pumping for agriculture and technical assistance in obtaining USDA grants as well as technical support for NV Energy Rebates. We have developed remote solar power sub-systems for the Douglas County 911 microwave operations network, Sand Harbor state park and numerous off grid customers.
Energy Systems Consulting is a small family owned business incorporated in 2012. We have been worked with the local SBA office, the NV Energy Rebate Offices in regard to wind and solar projects. We can provide products as well as design and installation support as subcontractors for various projects. We are able to offer a wide variety of knowledge and experience in various disciplines as indicated by the corporations’ principals and employees.
Dennis Medeiros, owner, CFO and CEO. Dennis has 35 years experience in Systems Engineering and performance analysis and design and development of large scale communications, ground computer systems and satellite subsystems. His emphasis has been in large scale systems performance modeling and cost value analysis. Dennis has worked specifically on modeling large systems to validate cost and performance trades before large financial commitments are made. He has managed government projects in excess of $100 million dollars. He has been a consultant for Northrop Grumman Corporation and TRW Systems. B.S in Electrical Engineering (Manhattan College), M.S. in Electrical Engineering/Control Systems, (Notre Dame University). Doctoral studies in Biomedical Engineering, (USC). He recently applied for and obtained USDA grants for a client with a 100% score on the technical portion of the grants on behalf of a customer
Leslie Medeiros, owner and office manager. Leslie has managerial experience in the retail furniture industry and in airline sales management. She has office management experience including financial and budgetary as well as personnel management. B.A in Family and Consumer Relations.
James Medeiros, Five years as experience as Solar Store manager and sales James is certified in Solar Hot Water Systems, Solar Photo Voltaic residential systems and advanced photo voltaic systems, commercial and off grid. He is passionate about utilizing his skills in promoting renewable energy.
Energy Systems Consulting maintains a unique relationship with one of the largest solar suppliers in the United States, AEE Solar. We also maintain distributorships with Bergey Wind Power and Jacobs Wind Turbines. . We ourselves have developed expertise in almost all areas of renewable energy. For our commercial customers, we have the capability to simulate system performance and perform tradeoff analysis between system performance and costs, failure mode studies, and “what if” analysis as we add or remove capability. We have experience in the design and installation of hot water and solar thermal systems. We tailor each system to the requirements of the job and use a variety of hot water panels suited to the particular needs of the client. We are distributors of American Solar Works panels, one of the most efficient collectors in the marketplace.
